On November 23, the Shoalhaven Education Fund celebrated our 10th Anniversary.
Thanks to all our supporters, alumni and community members who came to celebrate with us. It is thanks to the support of our community that over the decade, SEF has supported 300 Shoalhaven young people to the value of nearly $500,000. These funds support our local youth to participate in post-school education and training.
A particular thankyou to:
- Trent Hilaire from HILL to AIR for donating his time and resources to make the fabulous video we played on the night;
- Felicity Percival from Blissful Bites for making and donating the birthday cake:
- Silos Estate for hosting us and donating the venue, staff and the cost of some of the drinks and food;
- Our former SEF Chair, Linda Marquis for travelling all the way from Perth to celebrate with us;
- Lisa Carrick and Dougal Geddes from the Country Education Foundation of Australia for travelling to join us;
- Patrick De Gabriele, Penny Craig and Craig Green for donating artworks for our raffle; and of course
- Our SEF alumni who were able to attend, or took part in the video, or sent us lovely messages!
We look forward to doing it all again in 10 years’ time for our 20th!
